Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program
Nashville Davidson County

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program provides low-income, uninsured, and underinsured women access to screening and diagnostic services, to detect breast and cervical cancer at the earliest stages. This program provides clinical breast exams, mammograms, and Pap tests for eligible women free of charge.

General Eligibility Criteria

All Women must be:

  • 40 to 64 years of age
  • At or below 250% of federal poverty level (see table below)
  • Uninsured or underinsured

For a family unit of more than 8 members, add $3,600 for each additional member. These maximum income amounts change each year.

When necessary, women may be enrolled in presumptive eligibility (PE) TennCare to facilitate immediate access to treatment of breast or cervical cancer or precancerous conditions. Women must meet eligibility criteria.
